I have a question for you guys :) i went to petsmart the other day and found two balloon molly like this one (on left). They were the only two in the tank that were like this. Obviously I know it's a balloon molly, but the color is soo different and the fins are much higher. I'm thinking there...

That's what I thought but wanted to be sure. I can't see the pictures very well but is that a white sport or a white bump.

They are about the same when it comes to running. I have one. The bio wheel sits inside the filter and gross good bacteria as the tank filters. Helping to keep a good cycle in the tank :)

Yes. You remove the female after breeding and then remove the male three days after the eggs hatch

Thank you :) well that sucks. My petsmart only sells males from what I've seen. That's not real nice of them :(

I may just be super paranoid. She had her first batch after two weeks of buying her. I wasn't prepared and didn't even know at the time that the was such a thing as live bearing fish. By the time I figured out that she had her fry, there were only three in the tank, and after separating them...

From what I can understand, that's not actually the gravid spot. Try and post a closer up picture of a behind.

Try gourami!! They are very interesting to breed :) I'm actually working on it right now

I have four gouramis. I have a feeling they are all males, because all they do is chase each other around the tank. There is no bubble nest established. I have attached pictures. Does anybody know how to sex them? And can the different types of gourami breed? Gold Gourami Opaline Gourami...
