No the bioload is fine. If it was over loaded then you would have ammonia or nitrite problems. Nitrates are primarily removed with water changes. Some plants will absorb them as well.
Day 2 raise the temp another degree. Keep up on the meds and make sure all your carbon is removed from the filters. Try and do those gravel vacs 12 hours apart to remove any Ich eggs before they hatch.
What's your nitrates in that second tank.
Ok so carbon will absorb any chemical meds so remove it right away.
Second give me a run down of this second tank. Size stock level and your ammonia nitrites nitrates
You removed your carbon from your filter first right?
To be honest I bought a bunch of meds for Ich but I always end up fighting it naturally so I'm not sure if over dosing is harmful or waistful.
If your really worried do a full dose then 12 hours later a half dose and a full dose 12 hours...

Gives time lines. Knowing how long they will be in each stage will let you know how to better attack them.
So do we have 2 tanks with problems? Do you have extra tanks for hospitals or quarantine? Try and do a gravel vac every 6 hours if you can. This will reduce the number of eggs that will hatch and speed things up.
Do you know ichs life cycle?
Your guys got Ich. Start by slowly raising the temp. Like only 1 or 2 degrees today slow.
How many fish do you have?
Do they all have white spots?
What size tank or tanks do you have?
Yea kinda. Work sent me out of town for a couple months so im only home couple times a month to work on it.
I have everything worked out except the front. I cant do one giant door since the weight would tear out the hinges in time and two doors would leave an edge down the center. Not sure...
Im sorry you lost a fish and im even more sorry to explain he may have been treated still. Its believed that hole in head is caused by poor water quality.
It is recomended to start water changes and gravel vacs twice a week as well as treating with stress coat.
