I have been cycling my tank and I think I am almost done. I had nitrites showing at 0.1 about 5 days into the cycle. It has been 7 weeks. Finally nitrites went up to 3.3 about 13 days ago. I just checked and now:

ph 7.5

ok good, i had skipped the ammonia dose last evening. Today's levels are the same as yesterdays.

nitrates off the chart (over 110)
how long does it usually take the nitrites and ammonia to drop to 0 in this phase of the cycle?

well when i first started the fishless cycling, I added enough ammonia to reach 5ppm. then it slowly started decreasing to 2.4 so i added more ammonia to bring the level back up to 5ppm. i did that 5 or 6 times until my nitrites read 0.3 which took a really long time. then on this forum...
