    Is it good for the fish to do full water changes?

    It depends. If the pH, temperature etc... is exactly the same, then it's safe. Also, as long as there is sufficient good bacteria in the filter, and it's not harmed when doing water changes, then it's safe. Having said that, I wouldn't do a 100% water change. I would do several 50% water...

    YES! They are basically tropical Goldfish! From my experience, they poop just as much as plecos.

    1000 gallon Tank: FW or SW?

    I think a well-planted freshwater setup >>>>>>> saltwater. Saltwater setups are more colorful. But a FW setup can look just as impressive if done correctly.

    Are Discus really that hard?

    Not hard per se. They just require a bit more STRICT maintenance. Discus are sensitive fish. And they cannot tolerate poor water quality, unlike hardy fish. So you have to be a little more dedicated if you want to keep them healthy and thriving.

    cory aeneus. Bronze Cory. The most common of the corydoras. There is also an albino variety.

    what size is your tank? Increase aggression and territorial nature occurs when your tank is too small.
