Why do 2 of my 5 peppered cories swim up and down the side of my aquarium? They look like they are eating on teh side of the glass or they are trying to mate.
Anyone have a picture of a pregnant harlequin rasbora? I have one that has a much bigger belly than the rest. I need to know if I should go buy a small tank for the fry.
ok cool.. I have bought flake (rasboras are liking these) and crispy flake things (tetras are gobbling these up like crazy), and shrimp pellets for the cories. I am going to buy some bloodworms and brine shrimp this weekend.
I am waiting for the Bolivians. I plan to buy them in mid September. Also, I spiked my Ammonia to 4ppm to see if my cycle was completed at that level. It was gone in 24 hours. Also, I have checked the ammonia everyday since adding the fish and I am still seeing 0ppm Ammonia and 0 ppm Nitrites...

Ammonia 4ppm
Nitrite 0.5ppm
Nitrate 5ppm

I am at a loss.
OK

The cover is not too tight. I actually have gaps where the filter and heater are.
I used conditioned tap water to fill my tank.
pH is at...
It has been 3 weeks and still no change in my cycle. Is there anything that can be done to speed this up? I mean Ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels have not changed a bit
I know someone with a fish tank. So I am going to ask today to get the next old filter when she does a filter change or maybe get some gravel to add to my filter. My wife and son are also getting impatient ;)
