Thanks for the advice chaps, any recomendations on what filter to go for?

I have a marine setup and the filter looks a bit small for the size of the tank. The tank is 2ft x 1 ft x 1.2 ft which works out at about 17 gallon and was wondering how many lph i should be looking at to have crystal clear waters

Thanks for the speedy reply I just don't want to balls it up as i'm hoping to get planning permission from the wife to get a nice corner tank for marine. Is there any other advice you could offer on the subject?
