I didn't have to. None of my other fish ever got it bad enough. They were slow for awhile but then it just sort of passed. How are they doing now?

Well guys 10 mollies and a guppy has died. All I have left is 7 serpae tetras and four Peppered cories. They are acting completely normal but I want to get them out of there. Would I be able to take them to a store or something? Or would that just spread the disease to the store?

Well I've flushed 7 fish today. All mollies. I removed the decor just so I can see everyone. It weird though. It doesn't seem to be affecting the tetras or cories at all. Just the mollies and guppies.

Well guys, it's started. It's official. I'm dealing with columnaris. Again. I had a really bad outbreak of it in February and it killed off all but 6 of my fish before it finally disappeared. I've only seen it in my tanks once before. I came home tonight to find several fish with fuzz...

Thanks. I added some ph increaser just to try to get them a little more active for the time being. They seem to be doing a little better and are at least eating now. It's also helping the water clear up.

I also just checked my ph. It usually sits at 7.2 but it's at about 6. I'm a little worried because one molly died today while I was at class. And the others aren't looking so hot. Anyway I can raise my ph for the time being?

Oh my gosh. I did. I rinsed the filter out because with all the gunk in it, it wasn't running properly anymore. This is what they're doing.

It's been running for six months. I moved all my fish from my old tank in there. It has 10 mollies, 7 serpae tetras, and four cories. It's in between two windows, but the windows don't ever come into contact with direct sunlight.

Y fish tank has become very cloudy lately. I figured it was because a few plants were dying. I removed the dying plants but the water is still hazy. My fish keep bunching up in the corner in a group for some reason too. Any idea what's going on?

A grown molly really needs at least a thirty gallon tank because they like to swim so much. I've always kept mollies and I've never really thought them to be aggressive. Maybe he's feeling crowded and it's making him feisty.

I've acclimated them ok. They've grouped up and are fairly active and none of the other fish seem to be picking on them. But I can't really tell if they're eating. I've dropped an algae tablet in there for them but the seem more interested in the flake food my other fish are eating.

Did you ever get your problem fixed? My tank had a bad case of columnaris after I got some neons about 4 months ago. Only 5 of my 20 fish survived because I didn't realize what it was until it was too late. I had 2 mollies and 3 serpae tetras survive. They're happy and healthy today. :)
