I'm just starting to get into the hobby again after a couple years with no tank so I've got a new 29 gallon long (I think it's techinically a 30 gallon?) and was just looking for some advice on my stocking plan.
1x Angelfish
12x Rummynose Tetra
12x Cardinal Tetra
I'm hoping this would a good...
What types of SA cichlids could I stock with an angelfish in a 29 gallon long? My plan right now is just some dwarf cichlids but are there any larger species that I could add?

So first a little background (feel free to skip this if you want, this is just my second post so it's also bit of an introduction)
I started the hobby with a 15 gallon column tank and that went quite well for me so I decided to upsize to a 29 gallon long and moved all the fish to the new tank...
Hi, I wasn't sure whether to put this in this forum or the equipment one so hopefully this is the right place.
I recently bought a fluval co2 88 set it up and it worked perfectly for the rest of the day. The next day I found that water and siphoned up the tube, I don't think any got into the...
Well I spun it around yesterday and I think (hope) it should be alright. The actual move only took 30 seconds with three people and there honestly wasn't too much water movement. Now I just have to Rescape it bit by bit

So I have some scratches on the front pane of my 29 gallon aquarium and I want to spin it around so the scratches would be on the back. Is this feasible?
I figured if I brought it to 10 gallons of water in it would way around 80-90 pounds (that's including the stuff inside) but read that the...
Well I only began to dose excel after I upgraded my light so I'll start with just fixing my nutrient issue and see how it goes
Are you Canadian as well?

Ok so I'm going to need to ask for your patience and maybe to put up with some silly questions. I've only had aquariums for about a year and am just now getting into the harder planted side of things.
So with the light I am running (finnex fugeray planted+ 27 watt) I thought this would put me...
So I recently upgraded to a stronger light and ever since have been struggling with finding the right balance of everything. I was hoping for some help getting algae under control.
It's a finnex planted+ over a 29 long
Dosing excel daily and flourish three times a week
I was planning to switch...
Hi and thank you for the replies.
To answer some of your questions: have had most of these plants for a few months, I don't have any root tabs under any of the plants, my light is on for about 8 hours (not including moonlight), I change 25-50% weekly, weekly my water params are 0's and nitrate...
So I have a 29 gallon tank that is planted with low light plants and it is frustrating me as I am not having the greatest of results.
I have low light plants like green Cabomba, Anubias, amazon swords...
Growing(or not growing) under a finnex planted plus.
I dose Seachem flourish three times...
Are there any good ways to get scratches inside the aquarium out of glass? They're quite fine, hardly feel them on the inside but there's one or two that my fingernail can catch in. I'm guessing those are there for good? What's the best way to remove the smaller ones? Does anyone have expierence...
