Hi, I've got three otto's in my 65litre tank. They're brilliant little fellas! They flit around and don't bother with (or get bothered by) the tank mates - a Betta, 3 mollies, 3 apple snails, 2 assassin snails and 3 kuhli loaches.

I think your tank is a lot bigger than mine. Can you post a photo of your eels in the tank for me to see?

I'll have to find out about eels in the UK, but think they may be too big for my tank, and don't think the kuhli loaches would be too keen!

When you say Ells, do you mean eels? They're quite big and saltwater aren't they? My tank is only a 65L. I think there's a fish compatability chart somewhere online - I'd better check. Thanks for reminding me about the snails, I tend to think they're invincible, but of course they're not! Oh...

Assassin snails are a good idea. When I got a couple of them, they sorted my snail problem sharpish!!

Your right - the fish seem very happy. I've got a couple of assassin snails in there. Got them when I started getting overrun with ordinary little snails that came in on plants from the aquatic shop - they soon sorted that problem out!
