    How long in a bag?

Most fish stores will do all that's possible to get your livestock home safe if you will let them know that you are traveling. Most also have tons of styrofoam containers that they receive the livestock in that they will send you home with. I travel to a fish store 90 miles away all the time...

    Coraline Algae

What are the benefits of coraline algae. I've got plenty of it and spend plenty of time scraping off my powerheads and glass. I've seen plenty of posts on how to grow it but none as to its benefits. Thanks

Can you use decorations in a saltwater tank?

I spent lots of money on aquarium decorations when I first got my tank, after awhile I found that I much preferred natural decorations like live rock & corals. I don't think I could put anything artificial in my tank now.

    Adding livestock

Actually, I was more worried about the Tomato Clown. He's the boss of the tank. Everyone in there has to meet his approval.

    Adding livestock

Thanks for your responses! I hadn't thought about a six-line competing for food with the dragonette, (who's currently pretty fat). I'll my eyes open for your suggestions, our LFS doesn't get a large variety in too often but then, there's really not any hurry.

    Adding livestock

I'm looking to add something to my 55 gal. tank. I'm concerned how the current tank mates will react to a new addition. I have a tomato clown that's been the tank over a year a yellow tang, coral beauty & spotted mandarin that have been in close to a year. I was thinking of a 6 line wrasse but...

    Anemone split

Split pics Here's a couple of quick pics I took. I think you can see them both pretty well in this shot. Don't have a clue as to why they split. My tomato tried to feed the one in the back last night but I can't see him well enough to see if he has a mouth. Do they split at the mouth?

I had posted about a month ago about my sabe splitting which it didn't, it's just massive but now, my bubble has actually split! They are two seperate intities! My tomato is now very busy because he is hosting all 3! I'll try to post pics later. It's amazing, I have seen my tomato feed both...

    What is he??

Actually elise, he looks very healthy in the tank, he just has a big head and an elongated body. That's what makes him so interesting to watch, that and his horns\antennae.

    2 anenomes missing

A couple of weeks ago I had a nudibranch and an anthias disappear. Yesterday I returned from the LFS with a flame scallop. It didn't take more than a few minutes for my green brittle star to be all over him. I moved him to the other side of the tank but he had the scent of a scallop. He's...

scuba steve I respect your opinion more than anybody's because I know you have been on this board a long time. Several people on the "general discussion" board have suggested that perhaps this sebae is splitting but, I still respect your opinion. I have taken a photo under the moon lights and...
