    Apistogramma Panduro breeding questions?

Weasel, Panduro are part of the Nijsseni complex, and are monogamous. You can buy a pair, but you are not guaranteed they will spawn, they actually have to choose their partner, and if they don't like the female/male they will not spawn with them. I find with any member of the nijsseni group...

    Angelfish

Angelfish fry are pretty hardy, but 20ppm might be a little high for any fry. If you notice any significant losses once they hatch you should perform a 50% change immediately.

    Kribensis spawned! (with NEW pictures)

Good luck! and nice pics! They grow extremely quick on BBS, hope you have another tank handy! Within two months they should be a quarter of an inch.

    Angelfish

Most fry aside from livebearers don't fare well on dry foods, and they grow 10x faster on live BBS. You can use micro-powered foods, but you have dump alot in for them to get the idea to eat it and it spoils the water quickly. It's safer and healthier to use BBS. You might want to order some...

    Angelfish

Congratulations! The fry usually take about 48 hours to hatch and another 5-6 days to become free-swimming, at this point is where you begin feeding them newly hatched brine shrimp. Unfourtunealty these are no livebearers and will not accept dry or even liquid fry foods. You'll need either a...

    breeding neon tetras

Well in short, you can't. They have enough problems eating their own eggs without having other fish eating them as well. Tetras are egg scatterers, when they spawn their eggs fall into plants or leaf litter in the wild, safely away from predators. Even still they breed every morning during the...

How do I know if red cherry shrimp eggs are fertile?

They're most likely fertile, but make sure she's in the proper evironment for them to successfully grow in. Lots of java moss, no fish or other shrimp. Let her release and take her out. The larvae will do the rest. Adding infusoria or green water every second day can't hurt either.

    My altums... maybe

Most angels will clean/"prepare" as a grazing technique. It's doesn't necessarily meaning they're spawning or preparing too. 6.8 is a little too high for them to spawn. If it were 6.2-6.5 maybe, but 6.8 is still too hard. I'm crossing my fingers for you though!

Not Sure Where To Put This . . . Need Help With The Eggs

I've never agreed with schools doing this, you can still introduce foreign pathogens into the local ecosystems in doing this. This is why farmed salmon is such a scurge in the pacific northwest. If these organizations want to educate the children then they should give them a pair of convicts or...

    My altums... maybe

Spawning altums and raising altum fry seems to be really difficult. These are not you average angels, they need a low ph of around 4.5 to spawn and it's even more difficult to raise the fry than discus. Reason #1 there are not more altums in the hobby. Of in the wild they seem to have no...

Angelfish vs. Discus. Can they breed??

Don't you think If it were at all possible it would have been done by now? They both require totally different breeding conditions, so NO.
