Most acros are really easy to frag. Just cut a piece off the stalk, super glue ( gel ) it to a piece of LR and let it grow.

It's not from the shrimp, having your sand moved around is a good thing. Overfeeding will def do it, especcially in a new setup. You have to just up your water changes, keep cleaning it out and be persistent. And its better to underfeed than to overfeed. I personally only feed my fish 2-3 times...

No, i just shake it really well before adding any. In the summer i have to topp off alot and have found that by keeping my top off at 9 kh my levels stay consistent.

The only supplement i use is kh for my top off water.

T5's should last 9-12 months. How long do you leave them on. If its more than 8hours a day then its probably the bulbs.

Try using ro/di water instead. Or even distilled would be better than your city water if you know there is already high levels of ammonia in it.

I collected a bunch of small dead rocks out of the bahamas an was wondering if i can just introduce them to my aquarium as is or should i treat them somehow? Iodine dip? Also, i wanted to use them as a base for acro frags, should i wait until they are live or is it ok to use them immediately?
