    Is this a Aiptasia?

Too true! I wipe them out as I see them with Joe's Juice, but this one is in the back of the tank and I didn't see it until I noticed the two clowns all over it....I would feel very guilty killing this on off

    Is this a Aiptasia?

I thought this was an aiptasia, but my two clowns won't leave it behind (as my clark's won't leave his long tentacle.) Is this an aiptasia or something different? Thanks! Greg

    considering a flame angel

I've had my flame angel for about 6 months now and never had a problem with him nipping my corals. Mine is shy as well, but is constantly patrolling the through the reef coming out once in a while to say hi! Adds great color to the tank!! Greg

    Coral Banded Shrimp and Anenome

Thanks for the reply! The clown chased him away and the shrimp seems to be behaving himself! He does like to hang out under the rock by the anenome but is leaving him alone! Happy New Year!!! Greg

    Coral Banded Shrimp and Anenome

I just added a Coral Banded Shrimp to my 120gal reef tank. I have a large long-tentacle anenome and his buddy the clown living happily in one corner of the tank. Once in the tank, the CBS headed straight for the anenome and grabbed a tentacle like a piece of spaghetti. Anyone aware of a...

    Type of Chromis?

I would say more of a V tail than a U tail... Here's a picture without flash that shows the color a bit better (though the never stay in one place long enough to not get a bit of movement....). Basically they are blue heads with the blue getting lighter as it goes down the body ending with...

    Type of Chromis?

Thanks for the search....I looked around before I posted as well... with the zoom and flash, the color isn't that acurate!! Whatever they are, they are very peaceful and get along with everyone else!! Next stop to the LFS where I got them I'll try to find out from my usual guy..... Enjoy the...

    Anenome/Coral Question

One PH is on the right side of the tank facing center-left, the other is back left side of tank facing center/right. Both are behind the "reef" in the upper 1/4 of the tank and the anenome hangs out in front of the reef on the botton right of tank so foot is in calm and tentacles get some...

The anenome was one of the first additions to the tank along with "his" Clarks clown. He tends to stay in the same general area and will settle in for...

    Type of Chromis?

I was looking for a school of green chromis for my tank at my LFS. My usual very knowledgeable guy wasn't there, but I purchased 4 "chromis, but I'm not sure what type" from one of the helpers. I've attached a picture, any ideas on the type? (sorry for the quality, high zoom with flash....)

    Anenome/Coral Question

I have a nice size long tentacle anemome (see attached picture) who likes to wander the tank (120 gal reef). I currently have one leather coral (see other attached picture). I want to start adding more corals but am not sure if there will be any problems with my wandering anenome and various...
