Saw a recommendation on another thread about feeding boiled deshelled peas a couple if times a week. Had a question and didn't want to hijack. How do you determine how many peas to give them?

Thanks. I'm good with monitoring the tanks. I've got two healthy established tanks but still feel like such a beginner thinking about starting up a new tank. Especially one so big.

Was planning on using the media out of one of the two filters on each of my established tanks. This won't cause a mini cycle on the old tanks will it? It will be about two months before the 125 gets set up. Would I be better off just floating sponges and biomax while I wait?

The filter sponge from the Aquaclear 20was in the 110 for 2-3 hours and the gravel that I transferred was just a few minutes before I moved the fish. The Tetra filter was on the tank for 2 days before the fish.I did drop in a couple of flakes of food both days though.
