How much is too much protein for cichlids? I feed NLS Thera A(36%) and Cichlid Formula(39%). I also feed NLS Optimum Flakes (49%). for Spirulina. My stock: Frontosa Calvus Compressis Cylindricus Transcriptis Leleupi Bichardi Tropheus Syndo

I have Anubis nana all over my tank. It is hard and waxy, so they don't like it. It's also cool because you can put it on rocks and or driftwood. As for the cloudiness.. I always run fresh polyfill, purigen and matrix. Always clear! Maybe try a good size water change...

Depends on the size of your sump and what you put in it.. If you buy a pre made sump it could run you hundreds but I have seen many home made systems made out of $40 worth of stuff from Walmart. YouTube wet/dry filter or DIY sump.. It will get your brain bubbling and you'll see it's pretty easy.

All my fish get NLS pellet (cichlid formula and Thera A) and NLS optimum flake (sprilina) .. Once or twice a week San Francisco Bay blood worm cubes.

I didn't .. I soaked in bleach, rinse, then prime soak, then rinse. I didn't use a ph balance because my fish are in 7.5+ ph and it's about the same as the tap water I rinsed it in.

Well I'm happy to report that we survived the night. All fish are alive and well.

Yeah it looks a lot clean. It isn't a strong smell of bleach... Just freaks me out to think about all my fish dieing!

Finished soaking in the bleach.. Rinsed it out and now it's soaking in Prime water. Does it still smell a little bleachy after? Before and after
