I have two 950gph powerheads I want to set them up on a timer to make a wave like motion in the tank but I don't know where I heard it but someone said the repeated hitting of the water on the glass will eventually break your seals

I have a 90 gallon reef, it is a glass tank. I have always wanted to use a wave maker in my tank and have been skeptical about doing so. I have heard that it will slowly beat your glass until you spring leaks! Does this myth have any truth?

What if I have no sand I have a quarantine tank with bare bottom but I just got a diamond goby and I thought I would put a little sand in for him to play and sift through

Can you had dry Sand to a established tank or with that cause a cycle ?

I have to quarantine a regal tang just for observations until I see that he is ready to go into the display tank. My question is my quarantine tank is a 20 long, is this going to be suitable living for the tang or is this going to do more harm then good?

Have you ever used copper in the qt? If so that's why the live rock algae is dying.

They come in all shapes sizes and color so I would have to say no but im not sure what annomene you have, or lighting on the tank.

Well I guess im 2 for 2 on luck then, IMO Kick Ich works well, I have had 100% sucess with it 2 times.

I've medicated in my display tanks people say kick ich doesn't work well it works well enough for me haven't lost a fish coral or invert and no signs of ich. I'm guessing it could be hit or miss for some people.
