I picked up some plankton. It took a few bites for him to not spit it out, but now he loves it and feeds from the surface for other things. I guess it was a break-in period. He had to get used to non-LFS food.

I have a 10gal dwarf puffer tank with 3 puffers and 1 oto. I have a GE plant & aquarium bulb (so 1.5 WPG) keep amazon sword, java fern, hornwort, anacharis, melon sword, moneywort, crypt wendtii, rotala indica in it. I know banana plants will do ok in low light.

I had a male betta in a 20 gal alone and when I added two fire honey gouramis, the betta went nuts and tried biting through the plastic bag. I had to put him in a different tank. But from what I've read its hit or miss with gouramis and bettas since they are related.

Could I add two female bettas to a 10 gal tank with only a male betta in it? I don't have any place to put them if they aren't wanted but I'd like to add them if chances are they will do ok together.

I also just got GBRs. A male/female pair. Its been 4 days now and they both look good. They eat and swim around ect... They also peck or nudge at each other's sides and face off and then run into each other a couple times. The one that is getting pecked or nudged never moves... it just lets...
