    Any Canadians?

Sweet. I've always wanted to travel north. In the summertime, of course! I'm living in North-Central Alberta currently. Enjoy the small moments for they comprise life.

    White Ghost Shrimp

Those 4 ghosties .... 2 turned white and died, I had a baby born and survived to adulthood, 2 seemed to just disappear (never found the bodies) and now I am down to 1. Enjoy the small moments for they comprise life.

    Is my bamboo/wood/fan shrimp ok?

It seems that they are trying to get you to move out so that they can get a new tenant who will pay more rent. Be strong. I googled some faunus snails. They are pretty cool looking. My substrate is larger rocks with some finer gravel mixed in. It doesn't sound like they would appreciate it...

    Is my bamboo/wood/fan shrimp ok?

I had no idea that there are snails that are live bearers. Interesting. Do the Faunus snails eat plants? They sound pretty cool. I'm sorry to hear about the landlord situation. It's always difficult when your landlord is an ***. Enjoy the small moments for they comprise life.

    Is my bamboo/wood/fan shrimp ok?

Snails are pretty, but also very promiscuous! I bet your 33 g will be beautiful when it's all set up. In the future, when I have a bigger space, I want to set up a large tank. I could spend hours watching my fish sometimes! Enjoy the small moments for they comprise life.

    Is my bamboo/wood/fan shrimp ok?

Cool! Thanks I'll check out that pump. For my tank I'm really trying hard to stay away from snails, mostly because they breed so much. I have a nerite snail in a 10 g, leaves white eggs everywhere. I did find a assassin snail in the 24g, must have hatched from an egg, but I let him live. Not...

    Is my bamboo/wood/fan shrimp ok?

It was interesting when you said that your bamboo tend to sit on each other and share the current. Mine seem a little edgy with each other, they tend to respect each other's space. Whenever I see them they tend to fan in different areas of the tank, the female up on a plant under the filter...

    Is my bamboo/wood/fan shrimp ok?

Interesting. You've mentioned having a circulation pump to provide current for your bamboo shrimp before. I'm interested in getting one for my tank. All my fish are mid to top dwellers so they shouldn't be too affected by it. Do you have a particular brand that you would recommend...

    Is my bamboo/wood/fan shrimp ok?

I only have a 24 ga tank that is rather heavily stocked currently. Do you think that I would be able to add more bamboo shrimp ( to make them less skittish)? I do 30% water changes about every ten days. I use the tap water and a conditioner plus cycle. Nitrates are always 20 or less when I do...

    Is my bamboo/wood/fan shrimp ok?

Yes, I leave them there for a few days anyways. I have some RCS and one lone ghostie. I lost a oto cat and a ghostie and maybe (?) a couple RCS in the last 2 months (lots of places to hide in my tank so an accurate head count is always difficult) but I have never found any bodies. My water...

    Is my bamboo/wood/fan shrimp ok?

Yeah. She moulted and the eggs are all gone. I haven't seen her release that powdery substance again. It was weird. I have seen them being more active in the afternoons and evenings and the odd time I have turned the light on at night have seen them both fanning in the current. It appears that...

    Is my bamboo/wood/fan shrimp ok?

Fishfur, I just saw my female bamboo shrimp release a light coloured powder ( for lack of a better word) into the current. It was hard to tell where she released it from, maybe her mouth? Do you have any ideas what this could be? Enjoy the small moments for they comprise life.

    Any Canadians?

I'm from St. Paul Alberta, site of the world's first UFO landing pad. Yup. Enjoy the small moments for they comprise life.

    Safe snail?

Thanks! Apparently it takes a boy and a girl in the old fashioned way for these snails. I have no other snails on the tank so I guess I'll let this little guy out of solitary and let him join the general population. Enjoy the small moments for they comprise life.

    Safe snail?

Here's another picture. Google seems to think that it is an assassin snail. Would you concur? Enjoy the small moments for they comprise life.
