- I currently have a 6 gal Fluvall Edge that is holding its own :-)) This is my first tank so I've been fighting with the nitrate issue. It's beginning to get better. I have white sand and 4 live rocks...Livestock: currently i have a yellow-tailed blue damsel, an electric blue damsel, yes...the infamous clown fish, a lawnmower blenny, a CoCo worm, a med sized hermit crab, and then some corals...frag of pink palys, a large array of orange on green and green on orange zoo's covering some type of coral exoskeleton. Finally, whew (seems a lot for a 6 gallon tank...but it works!!!) I also have a green,short tentacled plate coral. My lighting situation STINKS!!! Currently, I'm using a fluorescent light and a blue light strip I found at Lowe's. Response has been good so far. My pump is an aqua clear. It uses 3 media. I have some coraline algae starting to grow. As things change, I'll upd
