So it's been a while and I wanted to update. I Ultimately decided to move my Betta over to the 10g with 2 ADFs but not sure if I should do anything with my 2.5 g. Ideas?
The filter is strong but I do have a filter. My Betta adjusted fine to the filter so I might just get a female for the 2.5 but...
I would think any marine fish could. 36ppm is a litle high right? Maybe get it down to 26-30 and most everythin is fair game. Have you thought of connecting the 29g and 10g could be a refugim but share same water? That would be ideal If you could work it out
I kind of was/am. When I used to go fishing I could never get the fish off the hook either. But honestly there's no reason you'd ever need to touch a fish. If you have a cup and net nearby, if a fish jumps just scoop it back in. I've never had a jumper anyways :)
Tbh I've never had a problem just showing the roots into gravel. They don't grow fast but I've never had a plant die either. I highly recommend planting :)
How long has it been like that? The gravel probably hasn't been cleaned well so it's just stirring up? Mine does thAt occasionally but settles afte a few hours
I though most turtles were peaceful and will only attack/eat smaller fish. Thanks Andrew for the info I had no idea! No wonder it's impossible to find these guys
This reminds me, the Baltimore aquarium had(s) a large octopus that would CONSTANTLY escape Into the employees only section. They probably spent thousands just to hold it down. He played with rubix cube thing though for underwater. It was cool :)
