I have an unused 4x96 Orbit fixture for $250. I bought it for a project, but never used it. Its never been over a tank, and the lights have been on for maybe 5 min. total. Unfortunatly, i threw away the box, so i will not ship.

PC, the y in the middle is the sump return. Its just a corner ell of pvc, it lets the flow move more. Jason, those are 20k's that i just put in. It was awesome with the 10's, but the 20's are surreal.

It does take cash, but now its starting to pay for itself. My Xenia and Colt have grown so fast and big, that now i can sell them to pay for other stuff. I also keep my nose on classifieds on here, craigslists, and ebay, no telling when a deal may pop up.

I have thermometers in the tank and sump to monitor. The tank is always hotter because of the halides. I have mine setup with the heater in the sump, but it is set to come on when the halides go off. My tank stays at 79-80. Its kinda weird, the cooler sump water cools the main during the...

I would be careful about heat without a sump. My sump stays cooler then the main, so it helps keep the temp down. I have it setup so at night, the heater comes on with the night lite, and my temps stay at 79-80. So basically, the halides warm it during the day, and the heater at night.

It flows pretty well in my tank. Im thinking of changing to a OM Squirt though.

How often do you do water changes.

I have the light and love it. I actually scored mine 2-weeks used for $500. You might have a heat issue though. I solved mine by setting up my heater in the sump to come on with the night lights. The halides keep it warm enough during the day.
