Yes I moved back in August. Before the move the tank was established for almost 2 years. The move was not a long one, only a day. MCluett, the sand did get stirred up a bit when a piece of LR shifted and I moved it around to secure it.

Hello- I have a planted 37 gl. Tank with a few Gouramis, I am looking to get a school of cory's. Any ideas on some other good schooling fish to add? I have had an aquarium for several years now, but it was an Oscar Tank so I was pretty limited to what I could put in there, e.g. one oscar. Ideas?

They are the VERMITID SNAILS what should I do about them? My tank is not 'infested' with them, but I don't want it to become a problem.

I have a question, on my live rock there are very small thin tubes that release a considerably long 'string' to gather food, any idea what they are?

Even still, I do frequently run my reef tank for months without the skimmer. Maybe 3 at the most sometime. 4 to 6 week water changes. Sometimes 2 months prolly. I have heard some swear by natural filtration from rocks only. Ahh how big/stocked is your tank? to do a bi-monthly water change?
