no need to worry... I had a betta that didn't eat for 3 weeks!!!! It was nerve racking.. I tried every day to feed him but no luck.... then 3 weeks after we got him he finally started chowing down.

I have 2 balloon mollies and recently my tank got ich... they were the only 2 that were not effected ... so the weaker immune system isn't true for all of them.. can't speak for the ones that aren't mine... but I love my 2... (puffy, and fluffy)

I just recently had ich.. tried just medications in an unheated tank... helped some but still had it... I bought a heater.. and now i haven't seen any signs of it in a few days... my take away: with the cost of all the medicine i could have bought.. the heater was a better investment
