Oh that sucks... At the moment my angelfish are too small to do any damage on anything so I was hopeing that if they grow up with the cardinals they should be fine..... Wishful thinking.

hays guys i just want some advise, i have just brought 2 small angels. and i have done my research and i know neons are their natural food source in the wild but what about cardinal tetras, they are bigger. so just wondering if anyone has had any luck with them together. thanks

i have a german blue ram in my tank and i had her with some neons, guppies and tetras and it was fine she did her own thing. they are a very nice fish.

Hello, i am Danielle and i am from Australia. i came across this site because i wanted information in regards to changing filters from internal to external and then had ammonia problems when i added new fish, which is slowly getting better. A big thanks for all the advice so far it has helped...

my ammonia levels rose to 4 ppm on thursday and has only dropped this morning. i only started using easylife on thursday to try to protect the fish as 4 ppm is very high and didnt want my fish to start dying. the ammonia is still sitting on 1ppm so there is still ammonia in the tank.

i have been doing my water changes as well as using easylife and stability.

just thought i would update by saying my ammonia is starting to drop now. it is sitting on 1ppm. i know im not out of the woods yet but its a start. thanks for all the help but i did lost one guppy : (

my PH is between 7.2 and 7.6 .

i have been doing 1/4 changes every day and i have done the 50 % 2 days ago. i could step and do 50% each day but prob not 2. is there anything else i can do.

i have the API master kit. yeah i googled that too so im just confused now lol cause the fish seem fine.

is the API liquid test kit a nessler based kit cause that is the test that i am using?

i have another question? um i have been doing water changes everyday since thursday and my ammonia seems to have gotten worst rather than better. i have stopped using ammolock. is it ment to get higher before it drops?
