    Guppy Fry

Got 2 guppies almost about to give birth. Can I put the females in a small tank by themselves and cover the floor with java moss so when the babies are born they will fall into the moss instead of getting eaten or being born in a breeder box. Would this work or should i do something else? Thanks.

Thanks I've taken them out and asked my friend ( an expert) (13 and offered a job at the local aquarium) and he reckons they have two weeks.

    guppies

Not sure, don't think the one at the bottom is but the one at the top might be. Look for a dark spot (gravid spot) in the lower middle of their bodies. Maybe images from the back would be better.

    Pregnant Guppies

The Yellow/Orange Guppy at the back is pregnant, I know the image isn't that good (iPad2) but how pregnant would you say she was (round about)?

    4.5 Ph

I have a carbon filter designed to absorb ammonia. Would that also be absorbing the ph up chemicals I use?

    4.5 Ph

I have a 3 week old 25 gallon tank. My Ph is at 4.5 and the guy at the aquarium said that it will just take some time to stabilize bit the problem is that it is so bad that fish are dying. I really need some good ideas. I am adding Ph up.
