I tried guppies but they make too many babies too fast. I want tetras but i'm deathly afraid of neon tetra disease! Also, side note, how do i retain crystal clear water? Even though I do partial water changes, my tank for some reason has a brownish yellow hue when i look at it from the side.

Would the angels eat shrimps? Also, what kind of fish stand out colorwise? I want all the colors of teh rainbow! :D

Is it possible to go with 1 fancy goldfish and then some other tankmates? Which brings me to the question: what tankmates can go with goldfish? I would like to have white cloud minnows with goldfish. That would be nice :P

Ahhh, I'm so indecisive! :( I like that rustle-bustle busy aquarium look, but I just love the way fancy goldfish look! I think i'll go with community tank and see how things go from there.

Hey guys! So I have a 30 gallon freshwater tank and I can't decide between Goldfish (orandas, ranchus, etc) or having a community tank (with tetras, guppies, etc). So i'll let you guys decide! :) Btw (in case you guys are wondering) I'm cycling the tank right now (fishless).

I have a sand substrate. And im dosing with Flourish excel. I thought microsword was a high light plant? i have a dual t5 fixture thats 28w. if i replace one of my bulbs with another 6500k, would i have enough light for medium light plants?

I'm using Seachem Flourish Excel. So i would have to get a c02 system to grow dwarf hairgrass. Or, would I be able to grow dwarf hairgrass under my current light conditions + excel? or should i just go moss?
