I have a spare tank set up incase it doesn't work to accommodate the betta I will have a look on Monday and Tuesday and pick which one and will put some pics up:)thanks everyone for ur help and feedback this site is the best:)

ok thanks:) can i get a male and that would be ok without the female?i heard the female betta will eat the fry will the male betta do the same and attack my other fish?
i would defo say guppys there much brighter in colour and are the easiest to breed they basically live to do it in my tanks:) you get great colours off them if you have nice coloured males in your tank and my ratio is 2x females to every 1x male, good luck!
hi everyone i was thinking about getting a male and female betta for my 4ft tank i have a rfs and plec,apple snail and mollies,guppies and blue cosby gouramis do you think they would be ok together?
red fin sharks are a schooling fish??i only got informed on here yesterday NEVER to put them in with other red fin sharks??this has even confused me now:(i think there amazing and the little guy i have is great with my gupps,platys,mollys and bristlenose plec oh and my apple snail:)
i have guppys and they breed like mad but i enjoy doing it as a hobby and keep the best ones or the brightest ones and give the rest to my mum or friends for there tanks but they do have a lot of fry at one time but not all of them survive:(if you dont want a guppy overload just get another male??

has the guppy given birth yet?there bodies tend to square off and hang around the pump/filter and the heater when they are nearly ready to give birth in my experience:)
I have used a group of corys wen my mum had it in her tank and they work well or as previously said an assassin snail but just one or they will eventually mate and give you more problems :) don't cichlids eat them?
