I have one that had interchangeable heads (both a stainless steel blade and a scotchbrit type of scrubber) the blade actually works faster and better for me on a glass tank. I use the scrubber to get in the corners where I don't want to scrape off the silicone at the joints.
I have a Rena XP3 and two penguin 650 reverse flow UGF on my 55gal. I really like the XP3, I used to use a magmum 350 but this is so much easier to clean. Get the XP3 if you decide on a Rena it comes with a valve so you can control the flow if you want to turn it down, the extra capacity of...

APC's Back-UPS line is designed for use with Computer-type loads only. They are not designed to be used with motor loads such as fish filters, air conditioning units, space heaters, vacuum cleaners or any other machinery.

yeah plugged directly into the wall it works, plugged into the UPS with it plugged into the wall it works, but pull the plug to the UPS to simulate a power outage and it doesn't work, just makes a clicking noise, I guess it's that hammering back and forth thing.

I have 3 clown loaches about 1-1/4" long. I bought them about 2-3 months ago when they were about 3/4" long. They have gown nicely and are a bit on the plump side. I have been noticed a strange behavior in two of them. sometimes they lie on the bottom of the tank on their side, it looks like...
I used to use the Magnum 350 on my 55gal and it worked fine and replacement parts are easy to come by. It's a good dependable filter. The only downfall for me was ease of use. If you use the pleated filter it clogs fast and if you use the foam sleeve with charcoal in the media cage it's a pain...
