- I have a 55 gallon tank , try to keep temp between 74* and 76*. I have 8 platies , 4 black skirt tetras, 1 gourami, 1 plecos, 2 snails, 3 shrimp. I've had the aquarium for about 4 years with a turtle and the plecos, but I lost the turtle and only since December I got the other fish.
