Hi I think the coral is reproducing... I was topping up today and a piece came off the coral and floated about. I caught it & placed it to a crack in the rock and it is like another little tree & has opened up. The main coral is still ok. Looks like one more piece may come off.. fairly sure it...

Hi Params are 0,0,0 Sal 1.025 temp between 78 to 80.. half of the coral is fine just seems to be the middle bit that has swollen up!

Hi I have a coral which was given to me as a frag.. has been doing well and opening up but now half of it is closed and the branches seem to have swollen up.. I have attached a picture before & now.. ideas anyone please?

DO corals eat shrimps or hermit crabs? I seem to be missing a cleaner shrimp & found a half eaten crab this morning. I have clowns, chromis, red stripe angel & algea blenny in 55g tank.

Hi I have 4 green chromis who school with my two clowns lol cute to see them all gathered round a very small torch coral at night!!

Mine is my algae blenny - he has loads of character & reminds me of a little dog. Not decided on invert but I agree that Scarlett shrimps are good.

I have just set up my first reef aquarium - red sea max 250. Currently have live rock, turbo snails, 10 tiny hermits, a long spiked urchin & an algae blenny. Hoping to get a couple of shrimps & a couple of fish this weekend. Will probably be asking lots of silly questions in the very near future!!!
