Did you get TECH I? Thats what I use. Read the directions carefully. It may take a few weeks to see a change. I hope this helps. :)

If all conditions in your tank are suitable, you should continue to see it from time to time. I has been about 4 months since i first saw mine. I think it is kinda cool.
