    New goby covered in worms

He'll probably get them again. PraziPro is a good solution.

    Goby Shrimp Pair Feeding

I've seen our goby grab stuff he doesn't want and dump it in the burrow for the shrimp.

upgrade for Xmas, how to move everything?

I did an entire tear down and rebuild in one day without any cycle - but none of the rock or sand ever stayed out of water. I just used temporary tubs and tanks.

upgrade for Xmas, how to move everything?

Agree it's best to set it up and then watch parameters for a few days before adding livestock, but if LR and or live sand is moved quickly there should be no mini-cycle.

Yellow Clown Goby eating, but still withering away

Thanks, I'll try to get it even better nutrition. Sadly don't have any Sel-con on hand at the moment. And I'll just hope it isn't the fish TB. - D

Yellow Clown Goby eating, but still withering away

The poor little guy happily goes after food, eating Cyclops, Mysis and a little spirulina flake. Manages to eat something every day. But still is just getting skinnier. Not lethargic or swimming oddly. Parasites? Something else? Any clues appreciated! - D

    Cycling in a used tank?

All zeroes on NitrAtes, NitrItes and Ammonia? Like many, you may regret those damsels when you want to add other fish. They're mean buggers and hard to catch. Clowns are also very hardy and by the sounds of it your tank doesn't really need a full cycle anyway. But don't worry, LFS put me on the...

    Cycling in a used tank?

Sorry no reply sooner! How have the daily tests been going? Added any creatures yet? - D

    Cycling in a used tank?

From the sounds of it you may have a 'mini-cycle' just from everything having been disturbed. There may be some die off of organic organisms which could cause some ammonia. Keep measuring daily for a week or so and see if anything comes up. You could dose ammonia like with fishless cycling just...

Lighting your reef... Best bang for your buck.

I would suggest just asking Logan at Reefbreeders. There's a 'Contact' page on the website. - D

Lighting your reef... Best bang for your buck.

I've finally found a fixture that I hope suits my needs. I wanted dimmable, but not critical to have the morning/evening fade in fade out feature. I wanted it to have moonlights - just a few blues on so I don't have to DIY them separately. And even though I have an Apex Light controller, I was...
