Hi everyone, I have a 65g tank with a 20g sump/refuge. I added 75lbs of semi/uncured LR 1 week ago and the tests yesterday were Ammonia 0.1, Nitrite 0.1, Nitrate 20. I think the next step will be to wait for the ammonia and nitrite to drop to zero, and do a large water change...If the levels...

I accidently let loose some pieces of Caulerpa in the main tank. It this something I should be worried about? Will this grow out of control like they do in refugiums? the peices are about 1" in length... thanks again

i just purchased 75lbs of uncured LR. some of the pieces stank like rotten egg! i cleaned whatever was rotting and put it in the tank. after a day, the room stank. not bad enough to get kicked out, but enough that you would notice it after passing the room. after a while the smell died down...

i was planning on getting 65lbs of uncured LR. the place that sells it only sells them in 44lb boxes. that leaves me with the option of having 2 44lb boxes or buy a 44lb box of uncured and get 21lbs cured. this is for a 65g 36x18x24 uncycled tank so i'm unsure of how the LR would look in the...
