no live rock and nitrates are zero today.I don't see how that could happen unless the prime messed with test.i'm going to try quick start tomorrow since i have ammonia and that's how it works.

i decided to use prime.my test results are the same today.

i made a mistake by using my filter media from fresh to salt water and it's cycling after 6 days.I have three fish in there and my ammonia is0.25 and nitrites 0.25 and nitrates at 20 ppm.i put prime in but i have three fish coming in the mail tuesday.I could set up another tank and let this go...

just curious what others do when feeding ghost shrimp.Some die on the bottom and i don't want a spike in ammonia.scop most with a net.

I had nitrates this morning 20 ppm and did a 60%water change and everything is at 0.I don't know what happened to my nitrites.My test kit is expired maybe that's it but i think i'm cycled.

brown algae started awhile ago but everything is 0

it's been three weeks today and i wish i never did a four gallon water change.I didn't thinkk it would slow things down so much.I just checked ph and it's really high.Still no nitrites so should i leave it alone?
