- I have kept alot of different kind of chilids I love those discus though they are more than just a delicate fish very intelligent their breeding and rearing of their offspring is very amazing. Not as hard if you do your research and tke it slow with collecting. I think that they are freshwaters slatwater fish as far as their brilliant colors are concerned.
