    Corydora stebai fry, white bellies?

It's hard to tell from the pic, but it looks like they have a bellyful of worms :) IMO if Cory fry end up contracting bacterial or fungal problems they usually die quite quickly (before you see a problem) so I'm guessing these little guys are ok. Congrats and good luck!

    Severum Issues in Community Tank

Ok...let's see what we can do, and please don't take offense to any of these suggestions I do really want to help. Danios and tetras are shoaling species that should ideally be kept in groups of six or more, that being said it sounds like yours are doing ok at the moment. Red tail sharks have...

    Severum Issues in Community Tank

Can you give some more info about the tank size and inhabitants? I have six Severums in my tank and they get along well enough, minor squabbles. Setting up special territories and using plants or decor to break their line of sight from one another may be a way of discouraging fighting as a...

    FresH2O's 20g planted rescape

That would be awesome in the terrarium. I want to do one eventually.

    FresH2O's 20g planted rescape

Parvaaa haha. I absolutely love the way the driftwood looks in the tank it's perfect!

    FresH2O's 20g planted rescape

So awesome fresh. I'm super proud of your glosso and how easy you make it look! Sorry I've been ghost...got the house so I'm doing a lot of work up there, prepping for fish transport...very scared!

    Eggy's fish and tanks

Sorry I've been absent pals! Lost a few fish since I've seen you all last, and gained a few. I had a 90%+ hatch rate from some aspidoras eggs I gathered which is really my best success so far, they're about two weeks old. 2 julidochromis fry from eggs I snagged out of the main tank. Lost a lot...

    That egg patch is killer!

    Julii Cory's

Your fish are guaranteed trilineatus not julii. Julii are very uncommon in the hobby and can't really be confirmed without collection locale. Pet stores mislabel them all the time. 5 is a good group but I'm always the one who votes for more cories...depending on your tank size. They shoal...

    cloudy water in mollie tank

A tank that is previously cycled can still go through a cycle if the conditions don't allow for the bacteria to be sustained or to grow enough to compensate for the ammonia/nitrite production. Do you have a test kit and can you tell us the results? Cloudy water is typically from bacteria build...

    55 g Stocking with CPD tank-mates?

A planted 55 with smaller species fish sounds cool...not something you see very often. The bigger tanks I get...the bigger fish I tend to get ;) I'm not well versed in nano fish, other than dwarf cory cats (which are AWESOME) but with that size tank if you start fresh there are lots of options...

Ideas to fill out my tank

Dela hatchetfish are awesome but probably not a good choice. I kept a bunch successfully until their angelfish tank mate got to adult size and couldn't stand them eating any of "his" food. He drove them all up and out of the tank. What size is the tank? I personally love emperor or kerri tetras

    Fishless Cycling

Could be a number of reasons. If you use Prime as your water treatment/dechlorinator is helps to detoxify ammonia and nitrite If you have live plants they could also have been absorbing some of the bad stuff. Fish with a good immune system can sometimes tolerate poor conditions for a short...

Best/Easiest live foods for small fish?

What about live daphnia? I had a culture and the fish loved it

returning to the hobby, off to a bad start already

Sducky, I'm sure it's just another way for them to protect themselves from having to refund money. In some cases, they may be under the assumption that a newer fishkeepers did not cycle the tank and the fish may have died from ammonia poisoning, but they don't bother to explain cycling when...
