Color temp will only affect what you see. I ordered the 4x55 kit from them and got 2 5500k and 2 6700k. I did that cause the 5500k have a higher cri rating but will look a little yellow i belive.So to offset that i got 2 6700k which will be "whiter" but have a lower cri value. Both will grow...

Ive never ran co2. But i also never did hard plants or high light plants. I see ah offers a enclosure to. Think i might do 4x55 plus the enclosure. Not bad on the price. Then in 2 weeks i should get co2.

At ahsupply i can do 4x55 for the same as the coralife but ill have to build my own hood. Think that would be enough light? Thanks

My current light fixture is a 4 bulb 4' fixture. I was growing plants pretty good before in my 55 gal tank till the top broke and i had to dump it. It was going for 11 years. Now i have to start all over on this tank. Think ill check out this Ah Supply. If i can find lighting in my price range...
