Red Stripe Angelfish (Eibl's, Eibl's Pygmy, Orangelined)

Any suggestions of compatible fish with a Red Stripe Angel (Eibl's Angelfish, Eibl's Pygmy Angelfish, Orangelined Angelfish, Blacktail Angelfish, and Eibl's Dwarf Angel) for a fish/invert tank? Not concerned with coral. 90 gallon tank. Thanks in advance!

Advice and Question - Alkalinity range and too low

Can rule out bad test. I was thinking it may be a bad kit. The latest numbers was a brand new kit. I redid the test 4 times with the new kit before posting my questions.

Advice and Question - Alkalinity range and too low

It has color but the tentacles have completely receded. My main resource when I am going to buy some livestock is liveaquaria. The info I have on the Duncan liking low flow is here. http://m.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=597+2790+2670&pcatid=2670

Advice and Question - Alkalinity range and too low

I put the duncan on the sandbed where this is low flow. Been there about a week now so maybe I'll just wait a few more weeks to see if he likes that one better. Don't want to go off on a tangent for another thread but from what I've researched, Duncans are supposed to like low flow. Could that...

Advice and Question - Alkalinity range and too low

I figured that since the corals were looking better and the metrics were good at that time, it would be safe to add a few frags. When I purchased the frags, they looked very healthy - great coloring, reactive, and full. I drip acclimate all my livestock for 1-2 hours until the salinity levels...

Advice and Question - Alkalinity range and too low

I've been trying to research Alkalinity and it looks like there are some pretty big differences of opinion. In mid September, I began using the Red Sea line of products - Reef Foundation, Reef Energy, and Coral Colors. Corals have become much more vibrant except I had a Candy Cane die and a...

    Supplemental Lighting for Mixed Reef

I already have the T8 unit and would prefer to not spend anymore money on another fixture. Figured it would be better than nothing.

    Supplemental Lighting for Mixed Reef

I'd like to get a little more color pop from the coral. I've also read a few blogs with reefers having the same Current LED fixture with supplemental lighting but have not found any specifics.

    Supplemental Lighting for Mixed Reef

I have a Current USA Orbit Marine Pro LED 48" on a mixed reef 65 gallon reef tank. I’ve had it running for about 2 months and have pretty good growth. I also have a 2 bulb T-8 48 inch florescent fixture that I would like to add for supplemental lighting. Can anyone recommend a brand and best...

    Clownfish - Anemone

Clownfish - Anemone - what the hell!?!? A crazy day in the tank. It looks like the clown is hosting the anemone. See the attached video. I also have a mini carpet anenome. The other clown looked like it was trying to host the carpet. The clown then looked like it became paralyzed and the...

    Clownfish - Anemone

This is pretty wild. I recently put a green bubble tip in my tank. Already had a few ocillaris clowns that did not appear to be interested in hosting. I had forgotten to protect the anemone on one of the inflow parts of a UV and it was pulled half way in. I turned off the power and hoped it...
