    Question about Chloramine treatment

I was just looking around the net a bit about water treatment systems, and I was thinking, how much algae friendly (but coral and fish unfriendly) nitrogen am I adding to my aquarium by using dechloraminated tapwater?

    pregnant amano shrimp

I'm wondering if the larvae will hatch and be released live in completely fresh water? It seems like my females are always carrying eggs, and I'm wondeirng how much of a snack my fish are getting from it.

Fish or Coral you would NOT recommend

Yellow Tang Having dove in Hawaii, I would reconsider Tangs., particularly the Yellows These fish have been harvested to near extinction in some places. When the herbivores are gone, the algae takes over from corals. Double disaster.
