With the hatchetfish I suppose it could be the angelfish but he's never seemed to be hunting them before :/ in the smaller tank there are only harlequins so I don't think they would have upset the one who jumped.

I just can't believe they got out, the gaps are around 2"x1" and to have two in one night is double weird!

I came in from work this evening and I think I may have walked in on a romantic snail moment... Can anyone with any snail breeding knowledge confirm that this is what they are up to? I'm pretty nervous because I really wasn't expecting this and have no knowledge of what baby snails require...

Did you throw the whole thing? They recommend you only get rid of half at a time if you need to replace for whatever reason, as unfortunately you probably will have to start the cycle again now :( Only other thing I can think of is can you rescue the old pad out of the bin and give it a rinse...

Im really glad shes getting better, and even if she has permanently damaged her sight I wouldn't worry too much I'm sure she will be able to adapt just fine - it's really amazing how animals just seem to cope with things!
