I already use tap safe but i think it just gets rid of the chlorine really. Doesn't mention ammonia. The ammo chips, I dont think they make filter bags for my filter so would they work still if i bought a filter bag and put it at the bottom of the tank underneath the filter stream? Thanks :)...

So, I bought some cucumber for my plec and i put a thin slice in my tank but it just floated to the top. So i then thought if i put a bigger chunk in it might not float but it did. Does this matter if it floats ? Or can the plec not get to it then? I want to start feeding the plec more...

I have 5 rummy nose Tetra's in my tank with a dwarf gourami a rubbernose plec and one cardinal tetra. We did have 5 cardinal's but we had casualties and i am waiting for my water to stabilise enough so i can add more cardinals. The rummynose's are really quite happy letting him tag along...
