    Surviving fry freeswimming, what now?

Well it's the largest I have available at the moment... So looks like he's staying in there... I have this air stone that has a filter sponge inside, I'll throw that in with him, and keep an eye on the temperature...

    Surviving fry freeswimming, what now?

Mog, yeah it has the split part, but It also has like a floor piece, that blocks the slats so the eggs/fry don't fall into the tank, but the gap between the side and the floor piece allowed the fish to, with a wriggle, get through, and then through the slats into the tank... I was thinking of...

    Surviving fry freeswimming, what now?

Well I had a marina breeder box, chucked them in that, floating in the top, and 3 managed to get down the gap between the trap and the main bottom of the box.. So ended up food, stupid thing, what's the point in a breeder box, that lets tiny fish escape?? Put the surviving one in a separate tank...

    Yellow Lab Holding?

Lost a couple, seems asif their yolk sacs ruptured.. I'm not sure if despite the holes being so small, and the stocking covering it, something is managing to have a go at them.. I know a couple hang round there but a few have disappeared :/

    Yellow Lab Holding?

I planned on buying a few yellow tailed acei, their colour is beautiful, and with the yellow labs would look great, but going to wait for the outcome of this first.. My green phantom Pleco is very active today.. Usually quite nocturnal, but over the last few days he seems happier.. Maybe he's...

    Yellow Lab Holding?

That great, thanks so much... My tank is at 81' anyway..I have 15 just wiggling about.. Hope I manage to make my first time a success... Definitely plan on getting a small tank for babies to grow out... I'm sure she'll brood again soon, even though she's only 2/2.5 inches...

    Yellow Lab Holding?

Still bobbling around, I've took the lid off the container and put a stocking over it and positioned it so the filter outflow flows gently into the container, providing a nice gently rocking motion for them, and a good circulation.. They seem happy enough, how long will it be before the yolk sac...

    Yellow Lab Holding?

I've put the airstone underneath the Tupperware pot, the holes in the pot are so small that only the odd bubble actually gets through, meaning it's just gently rocking them every couple of seconds?.. Will that suffice.. They seem alright, wiggling away..

    Yellow Lab Fry

I won't be able to catch her again now, the tank temperature is quite warm anyway as standard, my circulation is really good, more so in the area they're placed, they're all swimming at the moment, so I guess I'll hope, if not, they'll brood again eh?x
