Hi, I slowly converted a green scat into a saltwater tank. He has been doing great for two months but now has a bacteria infection in his eyes. I'm considering setting up a QT . My questions are should i make it a brackish water and if that works should i attempt to move him back into my marine...

I used 5 gal buckets , put everything in those switched tanks . did a 40%water change . added the sand waited 2hours added the base rock waited another 2 hours . added the old water ,let every thing settle down maybe 3 or 4 hours . then put in the fish shrimp est. Didnt loose anything. Good luck

I was just looking in my tank and noticed a slug on my glass. Then i realised it was a turbo snail out of his shell. And on top of that ,the shell is stuck to the glass. I dont see anything holding it there . Whats up with that? Anyone ever seen that before.

Iv had that problem when i use tap water . Now i just use distilled water and havent had any more growth. May try to get more water flow in that area

Now more that 24 hours later ,he is still in the corner . I did my feeding and he ate fine . but then when back to the corner . He has the run of the tank . 1 coral banded snake eel only comes out at night, 2 firefish that are half his size and a lot of coral .
