FS: Cheap Red Cherry Shrimp (RCS)!

I have a bunch of RCS to sell. 30 shrimp for $25 shipped via USPS Priority Mail, insulated with newspaper. I can also do 50 shrimp for $45 shipped, or any other combination you want. :) They'll come in a range of sizes, minimum size is 1/4", any babies are free with purchase. ;) I'm guessing...

best epoxy for aquascaping? need help

It starts to set as soon as it is in contact with moisture. To glue rocks and frags down, I do the following: rock ---- superglue layer ---- two part epoxy ---- superglue layer ---- rock The epoxy does most of the work and the superglue (gel variety) fills in the rest of the gaps.

what do you think of this fixture?

You'd lose all the color in your frags with 6700K bulbs. If you want to maximize growth then color, then grow with 6700K bulbs then color them up with a nice 20K bulb. Otherwise, I'd stick to a 14K bulb for a mix of growth & color. The Phoenix bulbs are a nice choice IMO.

    Possible African Butterfly stocking list?

Hey everyone, I've searched the forums regarding this fish already and I think I have a stocking list that won't be eaten by the AFB. I'm still wondering about the mid-level though. I want to stock cardinal tetras, but afraid that the AFB will make an expensive meal out of them. This will be in...

    Guppies are wiggling?

Sorry for the lack of updates. Two more passed today. All values were normal. 0ppm of ammonia, nitrites. Both were female. One looked like she had dropsy, with reddened gills and a red "bruise" (internal bleeding I think) on the side of her head. The other died during the night. It looked fine...

    Guppies are wiggling?

The guppies afflicted are both males and females. The ratio of males:females is maybe 3:2. I think I'll try WCs maybe twice a week and see what happens. Not to sound cruel, but if more fish die, the bioload will go down, but I'm doing my best to keep them all alive and happy. In the meantime...

    Questions about plants

PetCo/PetSmart are notorious for selling non-aquatic plants as aquatic ones....just post names/pictures of ones you're interested in, and we call tell you whether they're aquatic or not. =)

    pruning?

If you have stem plants, you can simply cut below a node and replant the tops if you want more plants. If not, you can toss the trimmings or offer them up for the cost of shipping. I just pluck off all dead leaves with my fingers if possible and if not, I just clip them off with a pair of sharp...

    CO2 loss in bubble counters

Nope, there won't be any noticeable loss of CO2 when using a bubble counter. If you're using water as your counter liquid, some CO2 will dissolve in the water until it's saturated, that's it. And since it's not even an ounce of liquid, it's negligible.

    Guppies are wiggling?

1~What type of fish is afflicted? In addition, please describe what is wrong with the fish to the best of your ability (i.e. cotton like growth, bloated, etc.). Guppies (guppies, platys, and cardinal tetras in the tank). The guppies kind of get lazy for a while, and then they rest on the...

    Guppies are wiggling?

Hey everyone, My guppies have been dying (in the past month or so). What happens is that they get "lazy", and sit at the bottom on top of my substrate. A lot of the times, they wiggle their bodies in one spot, and most have red gills. I've tested my ammonia and nitrite levels, and both are at...
