I recently moved my fish from a 10 gallon tank into a 20 gallon long. My fish include 3 platies and 10 harlequin rasboras. Any suggestions on other fish I could have? The tank is well filtered and has a sandy bottom with some small river stones and a few large rocks.

yeah they sound like nematodes / planaria. not dangerous, your fish may eat them, but they signify a not so clean tank

yes mine were like that too! That's funny. I had three black females and two black/orange females, and two males and a few babies and they all seemed to stick with others of their same color. The black females wouldn't tolerate anyone coming into their area.

I would worry about chemicals leeching out of the plastic maybe (?) especially with possible interactions with medications or salts you may put in the water.
