I had a fish who would bite his tail if he was in a tank smaller than ten gallons. He was a fussy thing, but he got his ten gallon so I guess it worked for him. Maybe once your fish settles into his new home he won't bite himself. 45 gal. freshwater and 10 gal. female betta tanks

I agree with t4runnr. I had four nerite snails (down to one now, old age got the others) and they never reproduced, just laid eggs. I was skeptical of getting snails too but someone told me about these and they've been awesome. 45 gal. freshwater and 10 gal. female betta tanks

I'm not a pro, but I'm sure ich cant live for more than two weeks without a host, so you could run the filter in the new tank for a few weeks to cycle the tank and give the ich time to die. As for other flukes I don't know much about them. I've only had ich in my tanks. Just my thoughts...

There is a piece of driftwood in the tank I got from a lake. I cleaned it, boiled it, the works. It was in there close to the same time I got the shrimp. I don't know if it had something on it that didn't die from me boiling the wood :/ 45 gal. freshwater and 10 gal. female betta tanks

Did you test the water? Sometimes a bit of freshwater perks my fish up. Maybe they miss the puffer lol I have mollies and once in a while they will lay at the bottom if something scared them. Maybe when you took the puffer out it stressed them? 45 gal. freshwater and 10 gal. female betta tanks
