A temperature spike wiped out all my fish the weekend before Christmas, let me know I'm going to have to get a chiller before spring

Are basslets really shy too? Haven't seen it since I put it in at the same time as the blue tang.

My yellow tang is doing fantastic, had him for a couple weeks now, this is my second round for stocking my tank.

Got my first blue tang today, it's been in my 90 gallon reef tank for a couple hours now, is it normal for this fish to hide in corner of the tank. Also this is a small juvenile, maybe 1.5 to 2 inches in length.

I've been trying to wait for that new controller to hot the market, my lfs was mentioning to me when I started getting all my equipment together, can't remember the brand right off but sounded a lot further ahead than most I've seen for sale.

Not the coral itself just the square it's sitting on is ugly, and my wave maker blows it around some if I'm not careful

I have a small frag of palythoa and would like to remove it from the square I got it on and place it on some rock, any suggestions on how to do this or if I can even? I'm new to reefing and this is my first frag

Thanks, what kind of chiller did you get, wasn't planing on getting one till the summer but the way this winter is going think I'm going to have to spend the money sooner than planed.

What brand did you get, I hear they are unreliable.

What brand of digital thermometer do y'all recommend? I work days at a time and my dad can't read the floating one I have now, came home today to my tank being 84°, a dead yellow tang, and green algae covering almost everything, also have a leather coral that I'm not too sure is going to make...
