I have rasboras, tiger barbs, various types of Tetras, Corys, and cherry barbs. Would it be ok if I add a betta?

Do you think if the the serapes and barbs don't get along do you think cherry barbs would be a better option than the serapes?

I had a fiddler crab in just freshwater for 2 years and i had no problems with it. Also I use to have 4 serapes and 4 tiger barbs and they never tried killing eachother?
