Thanks for the replies! Where can I find the "nm" rating on bulbs? All I ever see is the Kelvin and some say full spectrum.

So I've heard a bulb fir planted aquarium should be 6500k. True or false? If true does it matter if the bulb is specific for plant growth or can I find a bulb at my local hardware store that us 6500k?

I'm looking to purchase some new heaters. What are the best ones out there and why?

Mine basically do the same. I practically have to drop the food on their heads to get them to eat. Are there any other fish in the tank?

My problem is getting them to feed. Unless the food hits them in the snout they do not eat. They usually are hiding so it's hard to get frozen bloodworms or brine shrimp to fall on them. Any suggestions?

I have a female betta in my 26g with a dwarf gourami and a dwarf honey sun gourami. They get along just fine.

Scales and color are fine. It's not too much food, I feed them once a day and I'm careful not to over feed. His stomach is just bulging.

I have one in my community tank and he doesn't bother any if my other fish. I have 10 neon tetras, a dwarf gourami, honey sun gourami, female betta, 3 Cory's. They all get along great in my 26 gal bowfront

That is the best to describe it. Should I worry? I've had him for 4-5 months now. Not sure what to look up to help him out.

I just got a tablet run on honeycomb 3.1 I got the app and I can read everything just can't figure out how to start or reply to a thread. Is there a special way?
