It's a cutting. Does it mean I only can plant root into gravel exclude stem? I need test NO3 and ph. I think NO3 should be above 20 and ph above 8.

I bought moneywort around one month ago and plant them into gravel. But now it looks rotted not only the stem under and just above gravel, also the leaves. Did I use the right way to plant them? I have 65W cp 50/50 on my 20G H tank. Any idea? Thanks in advance.

From your latest pictures, it looks like brown algae. I have them two weeks ago. It grew quite fast, on the glass, plant leave and gravel, almost everywhere. After I upgraded my light from 15w to 65w 50/50 on 20 H, it stopped growing.

I got another two new plant : wisteria and moneywort. How can I plant them? In the gravel or ...? Thanks

At least once a week, 10~15%. Today I used Quick Dip 5. It shows nitrate around 20. Last weekend, I tested it by Nitrate test kit( Aquarium pharmaceutials), it showed 5 ~ 10. It's hard to tell the color sometimes.
